“A little piece of paradise in the African bush. Daily game drives, a hike up the rock to view the sunset and fantastic food. This is such a special place. Staff were beyond friendly and welcoming. The game ranger knew our bucket list of animals to see and went out his way to ensure we tracked them down – wild dogs, elephants, lions, hyenas, rhinos, buffaloes and many more. The Kruger is a special place and Mdluli is the perfect lodge to stay at. Modern, clean, tented experience. We cannot wait to return.”

“What a treat to be in a beautiful comfortable room with a huge bathroom, large living space and an outside patio and shower. The common areas are so well designed and spacious with great views and a spectacular pool. The game drives are amazing but are we ever happy with what we see – 3 wild dogs extremely rare! The food was delicious and vegetarian friendly. The staff were extremely helpful and kind. What a great place to visit.”

“The first night we had a dinner under the stars by the boma. The staff were so lovely and accommodating. Had the best sighting and saw all my favs! The Spa ladies gave us just the best “honeymoon combo” experience. We were so relaxed then went to enjoy drinks by the bar and infinity pool with a view of animals drinking water. Thank you Mdluli! I highly recommend this for getting away from the city with some peace and quiet.”

“Each private tent is nestled amongst the bush, creating the experience of being quite alone in the bush – the perfect setting for a romantic getaway. The food was quite exemplary. The highlight was a traditional, South African-style “braai” in the lodge’s own traditional boma area. We saw four of the big five over three game drives, including the ever-elusive leopard, just a few kilometers away from the lodge. We simply can’t wait to visit Mdluli Safari lodge again, and hope to become regular guests.”

“Magical bush getaway experience, at an exquisite lodge! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend to bush lovers looking for an authentic bush experience, while still enjoying the luxuries of a lodge. The lodge is built overlooking the Kruger Park and offers exceptional views from all communal areas, including the infinity pool, bar, restaurant and boma. The tents are exquisite, exceptionally clean and fully furnished with all the necessary amenities – including both an indoor and outdoor shower. There is also a curio shop with friendly staff and a great variety of stock. While there, I celebrated my birthday and the staff went out of their way to make me feel special with a birthday picnic and a birthday dinner.”
