ESG AA+ Rating
(Environmental, social, and governance rating) The only lodge in South Africa to be awarded an AA+ ESG rating. Mdluli Safari Lodge is seen as a blueprint for ESG practices in South Africa.
COVID-19 relief initiative
Together with Community Senior Traditional Leader, the lodge team have mobilised a massive relief effort to deliver food to the most needy individuals and families in the Mdluli Community.
Makoko Borehole
The development of a borehole in the Makoko Village (part of the Mdluli Community), funded by the lodge. This borehole now helps 3,500 redients, with previously no easy access to clean water.
